President Donald Trump has arrived in the Philippines to attend a pair of global summits and close his five-country tour of Asia.
Trump's trip was meant to be centred on trade and North Korea, and on Monday, he will talk with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, who has overseen a bloody drug war that has featured extrajudicial killings.
The handshake chain is a set piece of gatherings of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), who are meeting with leaders from China, the US, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, India, Canada, Japan and South Korea.
Trump heads for the USA later Tuesday.

Since taking office in 2016, Mr Duterte has led a crackdown on crime and encouraged vigilante killings of those involved in the drug trade. Trump raved about his accomplishments on his five-nation journey, particularly on trade and on North Korea, which the White House has suggested may be designated a state sponsor of terror.
